The TGUL series was born out of Malcolm's personal struggle with mental health issues and is about turning something negative into something positive. Malcolm's art aims to inspire people to overcome their inner demons and become the best versions of themselves possible. He believes that everyone has something they are battling internally or externally, whether it's their own minds or others' expectations of them. His work often deals with themes like mental health, self-love, and self-acceptance. A common theme throughout Malcolm's work is how someone who appears normal on the outside may be struggling with internal issues on the inside—and vice versa!
